Wow! They say you cant teach an old dog new tricks. Maybe "they" are on to something. I am struggling it took a looong time to register, then it didnt like me once I was in, told to go register or sign in to make this thread. it told my sign in was invalid, told me oi was already signed in, told me to go register again, but then told me my email was already taken, then it let me in and let me make this thread...
Maybe its gonna be ok, but I'm struggling. i hope it isnt this hard for most folks, i know one of the key philosophies of ModPo is the poetry might be difficult, but we try to make the physical access easy to keep the students from getting discouraged. of course, you could drive me away with a stick, but a new student might give up.
also, was looking for the CTA section, i dont see it.
Thanks, I am assuming there are either bugs yet to be worked out or i am just not very savvy these days.

Hi, Anthony. Keep trying. You'll get used to it. I find this discussion forum set-up to be much easier to use than the forums in Coursera! - Al

Keep working at this new staff-only forum, Anthony! In the end I think you'll find it easier to use and definitely more robust than the Coursera forums--for our purposes as a staff team. - Al

I’m using my phone at the moment to access the CTA forum, but in response to your query, what you need to do is get to a page where you can edit your Notifications. This is what I found: - Log in to modpo.freeforums.net - Go to Profile - Under “Edit Profile and settings” you will see a little box showing Avatar and a little up-down arrow symbol - Click the little arrow symbol to open a scroll-down menu - Scroll down to Notifications, then click it - This opens a page with a long list of types of notifications - Under New Post I selected Daily, and I am now getting a detailed daily notification when someone posts in a thread on this platform. - I hope this helps! Lou

Hi Anthony, I am also struggling with this new website and thanks for putting this thread up.
Thanks Lou for the notification advice; I followed your tips and hope I'll get them.

Hi all—just a note that if you're a Community TA then your main concern with these forums is going to be the CTA forum, here. If you're unable to access that link then you're probably not logged in! (Or, your account is new and hasn't been given CTA status yet.)

Zach, thanks, I think the overall learning curve for this new site is a bit much for some of us, but thanks to you and Al, we are getting there, bit by bit, or as one of my favorite non ModPo poets says, "light by light"...
